| This category of membership is by invitation only. All candidates must have distinguished themselves among their peers, both through their professional accomplishments and through their special efforts in mentorship and their entrepreneurial spirit. TiE-DC Charter Members are the illuminati of the entrepreneurial community: criteria for Charter Membership include being a C-Level Executive of a company over $10 million in annual revenue, or having over $10 million in venture capital. Charter members must be approved by TiE-DC's Board of Directors. Annual Charter member fees are $1500. Charter members benefit from all that TiE has to offer; privileges such as: - Exclusive peer networking events
- Family-friendly opportunities for executive-level networking
- Opportunities to drive the content on our monthly e-newsmagazine
- Opportunities to tap into the global TiE network of executives and entrepreneurs whenever you travel to a TiE city
- Opportunities to shape TiE-DC's programs and events yearly
TiE-DC Charter Members are also called upon to be selfless, however; they are called upon to contribute their talents to other TiE members for the purpose of fostering entrepreneurship. Their generosity of knowledge and advice fuel our entrepreneurship programming, and directly contribute to the economic development of our region.
