Speaker Bios

Dr. Ajay Vinzé – Dean for the George Mason School of Business

Dr. Ajay Vinzé began his tenure as Dean for the School of Business on July 1. Previously the Dean of the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri, Dr. Vinzé is a respected leader, and a valued citizen of the universities in which he has served. He is known for research that leverages public and private sector collaboration, and he has successfully built academic programs in close alliance with the business communities in Missouri, Arizona, and Texas. He completed his doctoral degree at the University of Arizona after receiving a Master’s Degree from the University of Connecticut and Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delhi. He and his spouse, Amita, are the parents of two adult children.

Terry Weipert – General Manager, Federal Maximus

Teresa “Terry” Weipert brings over 20 years of strategic government contracting experience to Maximus, a top 20 government contractor, including experience in designing and delivering innovative technology solutions to meet mission-critical business requirements. As General Manager, she is responsible for all operations, financial, and business development activities for the company’s $2.2B U.S. federal business. Ms. Weipert joined Maximus in 2021 with an eye to maturing and modernizing the company’s digital transformation, IT Modernization and Business Process Outsourcing portfolios.

Previously, Ms. Weipert led the growth of IBM’s healthcare, life sciences, and SLED service lines, which included application maintenance and support, custom application, and managed cloud services. Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Weipert served as a Senior Vice President Sutherland Global Services, establishing the business unit and drove triple-digit growth in the company’s federal government service center management, contact center management, business process outsourcing, and analytics service area. Prior to her role at Sutherland, Ms. Weipert led the strategic business initiatives in Public Sector at Accenture and Unisys.

Ms. Weipert has served on various industry advisory groups such as TechAmerica, Intelligence National Security Alliance, Women in Technology, AFFIRM and IAC. Currently, she serves on the Dean’s Council for the George Mason University School of Management. Ms. Weipert is a frequent speaker to educational and community groups on various technical topics including digital modernization, future of workforce and the future of healthcare. Ms. Weipert holds an MS in Information Systems from The George Washington University.
